Subject: EIS Desktop item - refresh image
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
I have an EIS application and we've recently added some artwork to use as
the main menu. I've popped HotSpots onto it that the users select to open
EIS ListMenus that then open EIS application screens. Upon returning from
the application screens, the main menu is there, but it's colors have been
fried. We've narrowed the reason down to a limit of 256 colors in the
Citrix Metaframe session (Metaframe is used to allow our users to access the
app from the office and at home). I've found that if I close the main menu
and reopen, then the image is clean again.
Have others run into this problem? Is there a way to "refresh" the EIS
Desktop item after it has the focus again? This refresh could even close
the screen and then open it again, but how do I know that the screen has the
"focus" again?
Thanks,
RVM
