Hi

The column width in the data editor is not wide enough to allow display of the dates.

Solution 1: Widen the column by hand.

Solution 2: use the syntax command VARIABLE WIDTH varname (11).

where varname is the name of your variable. Change 11 to a larger number if necessary.

Dear List,

When opening a .sav file in v11.5 from an earlier version of SPSS, the dates in the data view appear as asterisks. Why does this occur and is their a fix?
