From the for it's worth department, I saw (about 5 minutes ago) several
broken flocks of sandhill cranes fly over. There were so many it was
difficult to count. The best I can do is between 175-225 birds. This is the
first time I've seen them fly directly over downtown Macon. They were flying
only very slightly S East to N. West.
