Subject: changing order of variables
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

HI listers, i am in the process of a longitudinal study first cohort will be tracked from 2000-01 to 2003-4 second cohort will be tracked from 2001-02 to 2004-5 both datasets have many variables in common - but due to the way in which the datasets have been built the variables are not in the same order so prior to merging the datasets by adding cases, i need to sort the order of the variables in each file is there a piece of syntax which would allow this?
