While walking in our neighborhood (College Hieghts)
this AM, I heard and saw the first Wood Thrush of the
season for me. In addition to the usual and vocal city
birds, the following were also present especially
along Horseleg Creeek:
Summer Tanager
Black-Throated Green Warbler
Black-and-White Warbler
Pine Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Louisiana Waterthrush
Wood Duck (male)
White-Eyed Vireo
Red-Eyed Vireo
Red-Shouldered Hawk
White-Throated Sparrows (6)
Ruby-Crowned Kinglets (2)
Sometimes you don't have to travel far to see great
things.
