I spent a couple hours this morning on Dugdown Rd which hugs the "crest" of
Dugdown Mt and the Polk/Haralson Co line (DeLorme 18, H4). I was on that
portion of the road west of US27 and passed through nice hardwoods as well
as pine plantations and fairly recent clearcut. Of interest here and on a
nearby road or two:
Osprey 1
White-eyed Vireo 1
Yellow-throated Vireo 2
Blue-headed Vireo 1
Red-eyed Vireo 1
Northern Parula 4 These were at most every water crossing.
Black-throated Green Warbler 3
Yellow-throated Warbler 1
Pine Warbler many
Pairie Warbler 2
Black-and-white Warbler 3
Worm-eating Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 6
