I saved code in files with .sas extension, but the problem occured.

I told SAS, in the way you explained, to highlight txt-files. In
txt-files highlighting works even after saving.
When I click Tools...Options...Enhanced Editor...General file type is
'SAS Program File', if I start from a window that displays a txt-file.
But if the window displays a sas-file, file type is 'Text Document'.
Changing file type to 'SAS Program File' doesn't help. There is still
no highlighting. Next time the Options Tab shows file type 'Text
Do you have anymore ideas?
