Subject: The final and ultimate analysis question

Here's what should be the final question...it's a little complicated.

Generally, the ultimate question for the project is...is there a connection between the reception of certain homeless services and advancement to self-sufficiency?

To answer this, I need to see if, for example, a client received one or more related services (each a different variable)(e.g., housing, life skills, rent loans) and whether the client moved from unstable housing (one variable) across the course of being tracked.

so...

siteid clientid ntake track housing e_loan l_skills 2 12 11/30/02 12/30/02 1(unstable) 0(no) 0(no) 2 12 11/30/02 1/24/03 1 1(yes) 1(yes) 2 12 11/30/02 2/26/03 2(stable) 1 1 3 4 12/04/02 etc..........

So, there are 7 other tracking variables other than housing status and a total of 32 services (which form about 6 groups of related services) Need to see if there is a relationship between services provided and changes in status(self-sufficiency).

Any advice on how to set it up and do it with the minimal amount of frustration?
