Susan, here is the information about the patch. The new 11.5.2 patch should
be ready in a few work days.

They would need to uninstall 11.5.1 and then delete the remaining files
because the patch does not have its own uninstaller.
So, yes they need to uninstall 11.5.1/2, reinstall 11.5.1 and then reapply
the patch.

Is there a way to uninstall the patch? Do they need to uninstall all of
11.5.2 and re-install 11.5.1?

The SPSS 11.5.2 patch was recently removed due to a problem with the export
of SPSS output to Excel; which resulted in an SPSS for Windows crash. This
problem was discovered post-release and the patch was removed from the web
site. A new patch will be posted to resolve this problem. This new patch
will upgrade installations where the previous SPSS 11.5.2 patch was applied
in addition to SPSS 11.5.1 installations.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Regards.

I thought the .2 patch was supposed to protect from crashes when saving
output into excel. I even doubled my RAM today but to no avail. any
thoughts?
