Dept of Mental Health Law & Policy, Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI), Univ of South Florida invites applications for two professional positions supported by external funding.

Coordinator, Statistical Research (#12226 and 12227): Candidates for these two positions must meet minimum qualifications of Masters degree in Measurement, Information or Social Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Education or other related field and two years professional experience OR a Bachelors degree and four years experience in same. Completed USF Employment application. Work sample will be requested for applicants who receive interviews. When applying for this position, apply for both position numbers 12226 AND 12227.

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated use of SAS or other 3rd or 4th generation computer programming language.

Data Infrastructure Position: Position will assist in the management and continued development of a 2 terabyte SAS research data store. Position will perform extensive SAS programming and will work closely with analysts and faculty.

Policy II Analyst Position: Position will assist faculty in carrying out various research projects. Position will involve project management, SAS programming, and statistical interpretation of results. Salary range: $40,000 – negotiable The Policy and Services Research Data Center (PSRDC) informs public policy and program development through the timely compilation, integration, and analysis of administrative and other data, and strives to be a leader in management, organization and dissemination of information on health and mental health issues.

The mission of the Dept. of Mental Health Law & Policy is to provide the research, consultation, and training needed to improve the quality of mental health services in Florida and the nation. The de la Parte Institute is a college within the Univ. of South Florida, a Research I University, and one of the 20 largest universities within the United States. USF enrolls more than 34,000 students annually and employs over 2,000 faculty.
