Subject: Swallow-tailed Kites in Decatur Co.

Hi there,
I have just heard from Oscar Dewberry that he observed 7 Swallow-tailed
Kites foraging over a hay field in Decatur Co. about 3 p.m. this afternoon.
The birds were seen south of Faceville on the Faceville Highway (I don't
have a map handy and I can't remember the Hwy no.). From Bainbridge head
south on the Faceville Hwy, through the town of Faceville and about a mile
and a half after going through a crossroads with Hwy 310 there is a large
hayfield by the road. Oscar also saw one STKI here on Saturday.
I'll try and get out there tomorrow after work if the weather is decent and
report back with better directions.
All the best,
Michael Bell,
Bainbridge, GA
