Subject: Problems with enhanced editor
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all,

I have had this weird problem with enhanced editor (BTW, the problem also occurs in the regular editor). I have SAS 8.2 on Win NT. Often, at some point during my SAS session, my editor will start producing weird characters in response to my typing. I tried to reproduce the characters onto this message but it does not seem to work.

To avoid this problem i need to switch to caps lock and then the English characters come back. The problem is that now i cannot use characters such as: *,/,& etc...

The second solution is to reboot SAS and then start fresh.

None of these solutions is good. I wonder whether you guys have any idea as to the nature of this problem and whether any better solutoins exist.

Thanks, Zach
