A woman in my shop was getting the same message. She rebooted her machine and that seems to have eliminated it, at least for now.

there is a RPC vulnerability in all versions of windows... it stands for Remote Procedure Call

and one can format *your* hard drive remotely!!! Your pc was probably patched, or invaded.

I'd check around ... your sysadmins may have enforced a security policy (good) *they* may have hacked you (bad)
