I don't know about the SPSS web page, but SPSS
Exact Tests is based on algorithms developed
by Cytel Software. The StatXact manual is a
good source. In addition, there are many
technical papers in the public domain. For
references and downloads, see Cytel's StatXact Technical
Papers page:

Subject: algorithms for Exact tests ?
Does anyone know if the algorithms for the Exact tests are available on the
SPSS web page? I have a client who needs one of them, we don't
have the Exact tests module in our site license. We could not find
Exact test on the SPSS algorithms web page.
Thanks,
Sally
