Dear co-listers, How can I change the null and alternative hypotheses that are usual to SPSS procedures to the more relevant ones if the objectives of the tests are to prove the safety of a treatment: H0: meanA - meanB >= delta H1: meanA - meanB < delta. Is it possible or I will need some ad hoc software? Any comment will be greatly appreciated.
