Harold, Yes i have encounter this already. In some rare cases, ods pdf has problems and is not more able to recognize the ods pdf close; code. Have you this statement submitted?

From my memory, it happen to me when i was switching (in 8.2) between ods printer pdf ...; and ods pdf...; after a try printer pdf. Also when i was using tabulate with contents="something" at the three authorized levels of the procedure with the use of a by... pdf could not be closed more!
