Subject: sas from a windows command line?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
somewhat to my surprise, I seem to have discarded my copy
of "V6 SAS Companion for Windows" (I may yet have the one for
OS/2). I need to know what the command line options are for
SAS in the Windows environment (V8.2). I have a user who has
a VB program that builds and executes a SAS program, but the
&^%$# thing is bringing up the display manager. I am
encountering odd problems, although I have successfully
turned off the DM ("-noterminal" seems to be the key). The
only command line info I can find in the Windows doc is for
the configuration file. and I gather that is needed only if
you are using an alternate config file. Is anyone running
SAS from the windows command line?
