I am curious if other folks are finding that the number of feeder birds is pretty low still for this time of year. I am suspecting it is the warmer temperatures than last year and the fact that I personally didn't maintain my feeders until sometime in early October. also, I have not had the ground feed available until the past two weeks.

I just saw my first white-throated sparrow yesterday and my first chipping sparrows as well feeding on the ground. I need the morning doves to rediscover the milo that no one else will eat..... LOL
