Subject: Sending email in SAS
I am trying to send myself an email notification at the end of SAS
programs to let me know that a program has finished running successfully.
This works fine except my Outlook account will not accept the email if I
am not here to say okay, and the purpose of doing this was to be able to
run larger programs at night. Outlook security is giving me the following
message:
A program is trying to send mail using Item.Send. A program is trying to
automatically send e-mail using a Microsoft Outlook Visual Basic
Application command, Item.Send. If you want this program to send this e-
mail, click Yes. To stop the program, click No. If you are unsure which
program is sending the e-mail or why, you may want to click No to avoid
any possible spread of viruses.
Does anyone know a way around this? thanks
Deb
