Looks like another good day for sandhill cranes.
I had a group of 75, followed closely by a very loose
group of 43, at 1:10. All headed slightly west of due
north. These two groups has an unusually large number
of 'trailers' - single cranes, pairs, and small clumps of
cranes. They seemed unusually noisy to - maybe they
were just exulting in such a perfect day for flying!
