We cold Wisconsinites are eagerly looking forward to spending a couple
of days in Georgia mid-month. We've been monitoring your listserve, and
we've noticed that there's been no mention of Okefenokee, at least
during the past few weeks. We had thought to spend some time there, but
now we're wondering if perhaps that's not a great idea this time of
year.
Brown-headed Nuthatch and Bachman's Sparrow would be lifers for us. Is
there a good chance of getting them there? (If not, then where?)
Any comments will be appreciated, as well as any additional/alternative
suggestions of birding hotspots in that general area.
Many thanks!
