Surely you jest. Where I work, such things (especially the SOPs) are
company property. SOPs in particular cannot be distributed to those without
contractual or legal access. They can't even be printed out and stored in a
binder, but are accessed and read online. Programs aren't so restricted,
but since they are occasionally sold, they may not be just given away.
That being said, I'm faced with writing an SOP on validating an install of
SAS on a workstation. That is, once the install procedure has been done and
the last CD slipped back into its envelop, how do we validate that
everything is working as it should? Anyone out there have any pointers?
