February 26, 2004

TO HASUG Membership,

A Change in Presenters and Topics:

The Power of Proc Format by Jonas Bilenas, JP Morgan Chase Bank will have to be postponed due to Jonas’ unexpected illness. Jonas has promised he will present this at a future HASUG meeting.

In place of Jonas’ topic, Ralph Leighton has agreed to do a 2nd presentation entitled "Working with Arrays: Doing More with less Code".

The centerpiece of the paper is that, after an introduction to what an array is, the various types of arrays are introduced in the context of an application that otherwise is in danger of getting out of hand. The paper was given at NESUG 2003 and earlier versions of it were given at NESUG and at SUGI, as well as some local groups.

Hope to see you this Thursday. If you have not registered yet, please do so asap. Registration and Directions can be found at http://www.hasug.org

Regards,

The HASUG Steering Committee

We apologize for the last minute notice and change.
