Hi Marie,
"Enlarging" maens that the fonts in the tables are produced small and then growing after a while - or they are produced large? If the later is true, then try to select another TableLook in Edit -> Options -> Pivot Tables.
Greetings

Hi everyone -
Speaking of copying tables from SPSS to word processing programs - has
anyone experiences SPSS enlarging the fonts in the viewer (both versions
11.0 and 11.5) so that they are almost impossible to read? Also, when you
try to put them into a word processing program, they transfer with the
oversized fonts. (P.S. - for awhile this was not a problem - I don't know
of anything that was changed on the computer to stimulate this change.).
Thanks for any help in fixing this.
Marie

If you export the table in Excel or html formats or use a tableLook, display
attributes are preserved when these are read into Word or Excel. although
some cell properties are not preserved in Word format. Point size, for
example, is preserved.

Dear Jon,
In this case the SPSS tabels are transformed to the Word tables, which is
generally very good, but in some cases it can be a problem. E.g. there are
scripts which assign colors to the table fields depending on the numbers in
the cells. But the colors are lost if exporting tables into Word.
A solution would be an option enabling the user to say whether the tables
should be exported as Word tables or as graphics.

You may not need a script at all for this. In sufficiently recent versions
of SPSS (11.5 and later, I think), you can just export Viewer contents
directly to Word. In the Viewer, do File/Export, choose Word as the output
type and set other export options as usual.

Listers,
I posted yesterday a script to append SPSS output onto Powerpoint.
Unfortunately, it was given to me because I don't have a clue how to do it.
Anyway, is there one to append tables to Word instead of Powerpoint, and
maybe get it to recognize multiple response tables as well?
I'd very much appreciated.
