This is a security sensitive position.
Employment is contingent upon a successful background investigation.
Requires:
a.. Bachelor's degree (Experience in computer related activities may
substitute for education on a year per year basis).
b.. Four years of experience in computer related activities.
c.. Experience with SAS (Must be indicated on application in order to be
considered for this position).
d.. Must be able to exercise initiative, independent judgment, discretion,
and flexibility.
Prefers:
a.. Experience using SAS/Base.
b.. Experience creating "data_null_" reports
c.. Experience working with SAS/Macro, SAS Graph, SAS/IML
Duties:
a.. Work with SAS in a Unix/Linux and Windows environment.
b.. Write and run SAS programs for population estimation and projection.
c.. Create and maintain the Institute's databases.
d.. Supervise computer staff.
e.. Design all aspects of the hardware and software system.
