Subject:   Re: WARNING: V9.1 Online Documentation

FYI

I just received the following update on this from SAS ...

*************** The SAS Foundation for V9 will still run with IE 5 or above (i.e. ODS, etc.). Any SAS Web applications require IE 5.5+. The OnlineDoc is delivered as a web application and will need 5.5+ to run correctly.

The sites in question could order a version of the OnlineDoc for Windows (in HTML Help format). That version of the OnlineDoc will run in IE 5.01. OnlineDoc for Windows is available through the Support.SAS.COM site.

Most importantly, I was not correct in stating that IE 5.5 was needed to run SAS. It is only required for customers who are installing web applications. ***************

Cheers Don
