Hi Crystal,

Use MEAN ! Simplest example below ..

DATA TEST; INPUT ID SALARY; INFILE DATALINES; DATALINES; 12 1234 23 2345 34 4567 45 5678 ; RUN;

PROC REPORT DATA=TEST; COLUMN ID SALARY; DEFINE ID / GROUP; DEFINE SALARY / MEAN ; RBREAK AFTER / SUMMARIZE DOL; RUN;
