Subject: SAS/Share data provider ??
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Hi,
I've just downloaded and installed the latest SAS ODBC drivers from
the SAS site. According to the info provided it should install
'the SAS IOM Data Provider, the SAS Local Data Provider, and the
SAS/SHARE Data Provider. '
I get the first 2 ok but not the SAS/Share Data Provider, which is the
one I need.
According to the little test program code to test installation
http://support.sas.com/rnd/eai/samples/hello/index.html
the SAS/Share Data Provider should ceate a registry key at...
("HKCR\CLSID\{86699103-726C-11d2-B94D-00C04F81D3CD}\InprocServer32\")
but this is not the case - it does not exist on my pc.
Does anyone know how to correctly install this driver?
Cheers,
Phil
