Jack,
There is a lake and town named Possum Kingdom Lake (just a crazy
southern thing), but from the article it was not from the lake that he
died.

He died in Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas (presumably the name of a town -
if he were in an actual lake, he would have died of drowning, not
cancer).
