Senior Programming Specialist

The Sr. Statistical Programmer is responsible for all project level aspects (analysis datasets, pooled datasets, listings and tables) for a drug project. A more senior individual would independently manage a project globally including setting target milestones for statistical reporting deliverables, prepare a comprehensive resource and validation plan, and ensure effective tracking of milestones. The Sr. Statistical Programmer provides input to the protocol and CRFs to ensure that both documents are consistent and creates specifications for analysis datasets, pooled datasets, and listings. He/she provides input as appropriate to tables and figures for Phase I-IV clinical trials and submission activities to ensure that specifications adhere to the standards of the company and prepares programs for statistical reporting deliverables which includes establishing the programming standards for assigned project.

Min Requirements: Minimum of a BA/BS or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science or life sciences or related field(s), with a minimum of 4 years experience is required or MS in Statistics/Computer Science and 2 years experience. Intermediate knowledge/experience in SAS software. Working knowledge of database design/structures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational, interpersonal and diplomacy skills. Continuous improvement mentality and attention to detail. Intermediate knowledge of office tools.
