I posted a somewhat similar note in 2003 when I had difficulties opening the proceedings. I see that I posted the following item a couple days later: In my original post, I noted that Acrobat reader 4.0 is all that is supposedly needed.

Hope this helps.

For those who may have missed it, I found that while I could open most pdfs with my web browser, I could not open the SUGI proceedings on the SAS web site.

Yesterday, one of our IT staff changed my Acrobat Reader options asfollows:

Under Edit/Preferences select the Options tab. Under Web Browser Options unclick Display PDF in Browser

Once we applied this change, I was able to open the pdfs.

For the record, I did try reinstalling my Acrobat Reader 5.1 but that didnot help.

I have Acrobat 4.0 installed. When I clicked on the link to the paper, a blank page appears but nothing else. Any ideas why? Thanks. Ling
