I installed v912 on 4 machines without a hitch. It's been running flawlessly. About v913, I assume it's a matter of updated hotfixes.

I wonder if the changes in the install process take care of a hang-up I encountered at the end of a 9.1.2 install on a laptop not connected to the Web. I could not end a process spawned by the install program, even though I could start up the SAS System in the background. When I cancelled the install program, it uninstalled the SAS System. At last I shut down the PC with an install process still running. The SAS System opens and runs OK, though I have misgivings about the integrity of the installation. Anyone else run into the same problem? Sig

I have also heard that the entire "install process" has been rewritten to, uh, cause much less pain than it has in the past...

no definite data or use report here but what I remember at SUGI was that v9.1.? would have all the last-minutes fixes rolled in and some documentation errata fixed, too.

in a word, a bit more polished.

majorly new features? highly unlikely. minorly new features? probably hard to find.
