Subject: SPDS vs SAN

Dear All,

Does anyone have any idea on the performance of SPDS vs SAN? Our system is currently running SAS8.2 and having our storage on SAN having 6 fiber channels. And our ETL performance is not encouraging with our HUGE data (~32G including index); thus, we are thinking of SPDS. Will it help if we use SPDS instead of SAN?

Thanks a lot.

Wing.
