Subject: Finding Minimum
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
Hi all,
I have 5 variables (columns C1, C2, C3, C4, C5) and would like for each
respondent to find the minimum between the 5, and assign to a new variable
(CM1) the id number of the smallest of the five.
For example:
IF Min(C1, C2, C3, C4, C5) = C3
THEN
CM1 =3 .
any ideas how to program this in SPSS syntax?
Thanks a lot,
Yehuda
