ssd01--that's Unix, V6, right?

A few questions:
--same machine/network?
--what version of SAS are you running on the sas7bdat side?  What
products do you have licensed on either side?

If worst comes to worst, use PROCs CPORT and CIMPORT.  Keep your
formats, labels, lengths, etc.
