It seems that SAS is nearing completion of the promotion
of the ever-so-grand macro %glimmix
to a fully integrated procedure.
SAS has released an experimental proc glimmix, available at

http://support.sas.com/rnd/app/da/glimmix.html

which one may download for use with Windows and SAS 9.1.
