I have daily data for a number of companies for 5 years.

Date Company Volume
1       a      100
2       a      200
3       a      400
1       b      50
2       b      75

 I would like to sum up the vilume over the dates...so i want the
volume for all the companies for date 1; date 2 and so forth...
          Can you please help
