Subject:   Purple Gallinule - Altamaha WMA
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

After the birding festival, we (Jenny Michaels and Stratton Hatfield) stopped by Altamaha WMA on the way back to Atlanta. Stratton spotted a Purple Gallinule from the path south of the tower between the salt marsh and the road (unfortunately I missed it). Other highlights were six Sora, two Grasshopper Sparrows and a Clay-colored Sparrow. Also large flocks of Blue-winged Teal were moving in.
