This one really does not need an Expert level, Ralf :-)

RECODE a1 to a10 (CONVERT) into b1 to b10 .

....of course both lists containing the same number of variables.

Have a nice weekend

Dear Experts,

How can one change the format from string to numeric FOR MANY VARIABLES AT ONCE? For ONLY ONE var the command would be: RECODE var_a (CONVERT) into var_b.

Thanks in advance!

Ralf
