Subject: Chatham Co. sightings

I birded the Savannah Ogeechee Canal Museum on Monday 4/4. The paths and boardwalks were flooded due to all the rain we've had recently so I was restricted to the higher ground near the museum entrance. Some new arrivals were:

Northern Parula Red-eyed Vireo (fots) Prothonatary Warbler (heard, fots) Ovenbird (LIFER!)

At my father-in-law's house in Pooler later that day I saw a Pine Siskin (another lifer)

I still had a female Purple Finch at my feeders as of 4/3.

Tim Miller, Chatham Co.
