Subject: use of dates in SPSS
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi list,

I have a question with regard to the use of dates in SPSS. My dataset has a data variable (dd.mm.yyyy). I want to select cases based on these dates. For example, I want to select a subset of all cases in the database from May 2005 to June 2005. However, it does not work (for some reason)?

Any suggestions???? Do I have to change the date-format? What would my syntax be?

Thanks a bunch!

Sven
