Charles,

I don't know of him but, upon looking up "Fries Executive Search" on Google, only found the sconsig post, the original post to slist, a number of directory listings and, possibly most importantly, the following:

He obviously has, on at least one occasion asked people to broadcast a posting. I wonder if any of the list members are lawyers and would be willing to share any insight.
