We had a demo of EG here at CDC last week
and our installers have been swamped
with requests for This New&Improved Software,
which unfortunately is JustOutOfTheBox.

We have a note about the EG hang on the splash screen. The resolution
apply a hotfix to your EG installation. Please see the note below:
Enterprise Guide 3.0 hangs during invocation
Enterprise Guide 3.0 installs normally but hangs at the splash screen on
invocation. This is due to DCOM checking performed by the seguide
executable during initialization.
