Marc,
You do not need it actually. In NOMREG you use categorical FACTORS and
quantitative COVARIATES. For factors, all values are used, as is usual in
ANOVA, in order to analyse the dependent variable for each combination of
factors' categories. And of course all the range of observed covariate
values is taken into account. There are NO reference categories for
independent variables in this procedure.
