Subject: Re: Looking to retain heading formatting after exporting to Excel

Offhand, I cannot come up with a SAS-to-Excel export technique which does NOT preserve case. For exapmle, when I use the SAS Export Wizard to copy SASHELP.CLASS to an Excel 2000 worksheet, the first column heading is "Name" (not "NAME" or "name").

So just how does the problem arise?

I do not think it is possible, but before I start working with VB or Perl or PYTHON or ??
