I finally saw two Chipping Sparrows at the feeder this morning. This is probably the latest arrival date since 1989.

Heard Hermit Thrushes chuckling in the woods early this morning. Hope to see some soon.

An Ovenbird has been "hanging out" here, eating millet from the ground. Maybe it plans to stay around all winter?
