Subject: Lake Acworth and appologies
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

There were at least 32 Great Egrets at the upper end of Lake Acworth yesterday. The lake is way down, but the only shorebirds I have seen are Killdeer and Least Sandpipers the few times I have been by. I must also appologize for the post I made 2 weeks ago. In my mind I was sending an addendum to the Kennesaw mailing list, thus I was using band codes for the species. A list of band codes used for Kennesaw and banders can be found at: www.georgia-birding.com/KMT/bandcodes/pdf This is almost all that is used when recording species on the mountain and posting the results to the mailing list. It is also the fastest way to keep one's own records while birding and fairly easy to learn with practice. Sorry again and Hope to see you all this weekend at the coast!
