Subject: centering the variable
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hello, is there an easy way to center a variable around its mean (I am using spss 13) or is it still computing its mean and then writing a compute statement where the centvar=var-mean ?

Thanks,

Bozena
