I'm not sure if this is an SPSS question..but I've lost patience.

I am trying to determine the % of subjects who experience an adverse event (symptom) by their treatment group (1,2, or 3).

Each subject could have reported multiple adverse events, so the data looks like this:

Subj ID AE Txt group

1 2 1

1 2 1

1 3 1

1 4 1

2 2 2

2 3 2

2 3 2

2 4 1

A simple frequency produces 103 AEs for a total number of 104 subjects in the group (since each can report multiple AEs).

I don't even really need to know %, just those AEs reported by more than 10% of subjects.

I know there are lots and lots of smart people out there.phone home..
