Hey I would just be happy if I could find a part time evening and weekend job doing SAS programming to help out with the bills.

Let’s not talk about outsourcing anymore. Let’s find a way how can we survive in this crazy economy as a SAS programmer/Developer. I do not know about our next generation but let’s make sure our generation can at least keep working. We talk about Consumer confidence is up during the holiday session, but I see imports from China are up because of holidays. Let me tell a story of a CRO. They outsourced to India, trained people there, and later on those Indian employees left them and started their own business. Now the big Executives are thinking they are making their stock higher by going to a cheap labor market. But they forgot they themselves are expensive too ( over priced). When these Indians will be enough trained, will have good access to sufficient funds do you think they will care about JP Morgan’s Executives living in NYC Mansions? They will provide almost same service with a lot cheaper price. But it will take decades. Until then can anyone tell us how can we improve ourselves to compete this outsourcing market?
